Renewables Service & Repair Engineer Location: Leicester and surrounding areas Salary: £44,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours per week) Job Description An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Renewables Service & Repair Engineer to join a growing team, covering Leicester and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have proven experience working with renewable energy heating and hot water systems, with the ability to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and provide effective technical support. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations. This role would suit a reliable, customer-focused engineer with strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults within renewable energy central heating and hot water systems. Carry out service, maintenance and repair work on renewable energy installations. Provide technical advice and support to customers and colleagues. Deliver excellent customer service when working with clients, residents and tenants. Keep customers and relevant teams updated on job progress and any issues identified. Complete all required job reports, service records and associated paperwork accurately, both electronically and manually. Comply with all relevant Health and Safety legislation, including risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH requirements. Ensure tools, equipment and materials are used safely and effectively.
