Experienced Fabricator Chesterfield £15.00 - £17.00 per hour Our client, a rapidly growing engineering company based in Chesterfield, is seeking an Experienced Fabricator to join their dynamic team. Experienced Fabricator Roles and Responsibilities: * Carrying out general fabrication work on a range of steel structures and components * Interpreting and working from engineering drawings and technical specifications * Measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, and drilling steel and plate * Carrying out high-quality MIG welding * Assembling and fabricating components to a high standard of accuracy and quality * Using a range of workshop tools, machinery, and fabrication equipment * Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification * Maintaining strict adherence to all Health & Safety procedures and site policies Experienced Fabricator Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience working as a Fabricator within an engineering or manufacturing environment * Confident with general fabrication and steelwork * Strong MIG welding skills * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experienced in measuring, marking out, cutting, and assembling components * Comfortable using a range of fabrication machinery and workshop equipment * Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work * Able to work independently and as part of a team Experienced Fabricator Working Hours: * Monday – Thursday, 06:00 – 16:30 * Overtime rate time and half * Company pension * Onsite parking * Sick pay Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.
