At Plymouth Community Homes, you'll be trusted to lead our in-house Gas Servicing Team, ensuring thousands of residents receive safe, reliable, and high-quality heating and gas services every day. What you'll be doingAs Gas Servicing Supervisor, you'll provide day-to-day leadership to a team of Gas Safe registered engineers, apprentices and trainees. You'll be responsible for: • Leading and motivating a high-performing gas servicing team • Carrying out site inspections, quality assessments and toolbox talks • Ensuring compliance with Gas Safety Regulations and health and safety standards • Managing workloads to deliver efficient, cost-effective services • Supporting engineer development through coaching, mentoring and performance management • Working closely with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered on time and to a high standard • Championing excellent customer service and resident satisfaction • Promoting a strong safety culture across all aspects of the service What we're looking forWe're keen to hear from candidates who can bring both strong technical knowledge and people leadership skills. You'll likely have: • Experience within gas servicing, maintenance or breakdown services in either the public or private sector • Experience supervising, leading or developing Gas Safe registered engineers • A solid understanding of Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations and wider health and safety legislation • The ability to motivate teams, manage performance and drive service improvements • Excellent communication and customer-focused skills • Current ACS qualifications and a full UK driving licence Most importantly, you'll be someone who takes pride in doing the right thing, supporting colleagues and delivering excellent outcomes for customers.
