North of Tyne Adult Education Budget

The North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA) has managed the Adult Education Budget for Newcastle, North Tyneside, and Northumberland since 2020. The wider North East Combined Authority covers Gateshead, Sunderland, South Tyneside, County Durham, and additional areas. Between them, they fund a comprehensive network of construction and trade training across the region.

Newcastle's construction scene is booming. The Quayside regeneration continues, the Forth Yards development is creating a new urban quarter, and the city's target of 21,000 new homes by 2030 means sustained demand for qualified tradespeople. The NTCA AEB is channelling funds into exactly these skills.
