Step-by-Step Career Path
Meet the Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications needed, but you must be at least 18 (16 for some trainee schemes). Physical fitness is essential — scaffolding involves heavy lifting and working at height.
Get Your CISRS Labourer Card
Start as a scaffolding labourer. Complete the CISRS Scaffolding Labourer course (2 days) and a Health & Safety test. This gets you on site and earning while you learn.
Complete CISRS Part 1 Training
